obituary, CHARLES S FAN NOI DEAD Vice-President of News Company lind ndergone Operation Charles S Van Noy vice-president of the Van Noy Interstate Company died at Research Hospital at 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon following an operation Mr Van Noy was born March 18 1870 at Princeton Mo and moved to Kansas City in 1891 engaging in the news business on Union Avenue with his brother Ira C Van Noy That was the foundation of the present Van Noy Interstate Company Mr Van Noy Is survived by his wife a son Orville C Van Noy of Kansas City a daughter Mrs Robert Hunt Los Angeles his mother Mrs Catherine Van Noy five brothers Ira C Van Noy James L Van Noy and Henry C Van Noy Kansas City Joseph B Van Noy Springfield and Horace G Van Noy Wichita Kas and two sisters Mrs J O Britt Kansas City and Mrs James Hu len Wray Col The funeral will be at the family home 5850 Central Street at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery
